  • Density: 0.25 g / cm3 ～ 0.85g / cm³, which is 1/30 of iron, 1/10 of aluminum, and 1/4 of wood;

  • Porosity: 68% ～ 90%;

Properties

  • Weather resistance
    Corrosion resistance: exposed to the marine atmospheric environment for one year without obvious anomalies; under accelerated corrosion conditions, the water spray salt spray test shows it has no anomalies for 2 years; indicating that the aluminum foam has good corrosion resistance.
    Non-hygroscopic: The aluminum foam has a moisture absorption rate of 0.0%. There is no hygroscopic phenomenon, and the acoustic performance will not be reduced due to moisture.
    Heat resistance / non-combustibility: Foamed aluminum softens only at 600 ℃, and is a non-combustible material.
    Thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity of foamed aluminum is 0.25 ~ 0.62W / m.K, which is equivalent to marble and has good thermal insulation performance.
    Thermal stability: The linear expansion coefficient of aluminum foam is 1.934 * 10 ℃, which is equivalent to concrete, and is not easy to deform when heated.
     

  • Mechanical properties
    Mechanical properties: compressive strength: 3-17MPa; flexural strength: 3-15MPa; tensile strength: 2-7MPa;
    Cushioning performance: Energy absorption can reach 8J / cm³ ～ 30J / cm³, aluminum foam can absorb energy through deformation, it is an
    excellent impact energy absorbing material.
    Damping performance: After testing by the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the internal friction factor Q-1 of aluminum foam reaches 6 × 10-3.
     

  • Machining ability
    Aluminum foam is widely used in various fields. It is a porous, light-silver-white metal material with excellent characteristics for easy processing. Can be made into Bars and various shaped parts.
     

  • Green and environmental protection
    Non-toxic: Aluminum foam is a material composed of metal and pores, which is non-toxic itself and does not emit toxic gases at high temperatures.
    Recyclable: The main chemical composition of aluminum foam is aluminum alloy and its oxide, which can be recycled 100% without causing any pollution to the environment.
    Electromagnetic shielding: electromagnetic shielding (below 200MHz) shields the electromagnetic screen 90dB and has excellent electromagnetic shielding performance.
